Using this website
You may read, print and share our pages for your own personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to:
- Use the site for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that damages it or interferes with anyone else's use of it.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site, its server or connected systems.
- Scrape, copy or republish substantial parts of the site for a commercial purpose without our written permission.
- Present our content as your own, or remove attribution or source links from it.
Automated access for the purpose of search indexing or AI-assisted answering is permitted, subject to our robots.txt. We ask only that our content be attributed to Foodi-AI and linked to the page it came from.
Our content and your use of it
Unless stated otherwise, the text, design, code, images and structure of this website belong to Foodi-AI B.V. and are protected by copyright and database rights. Product names, logos and brands of the shops we mention belong to their respective owners; we use them descriptively, and their appearance here implies no endorsement of Foodi-AI by them.
You may quote short passages with attribution and a link. For anything more, please ask. We usually say yes.
The nature of our information
Everything on this website is general information about food and nutrition. It is not medical advice and not a substitute for a qualified professional. Nutrition figures are estimates. Research summaries describe what a study found, not what will happen to you. Please read our medical disclaimer in full. It forms part of these terms.
We write with care, but we do not warrant that the information here is complete, current or error-free. If you find a mistake, tell us and we will correct it.
Links to other websites
This site links to shops and to scientific sources. We do not control those websites and are not responsible for their content, their products, their prices or their privacy practices. A link is not an endorsement of everything on the other side of it. Some shop links are affiliate links, as set out in our affiliate disclosure.
Any purchase you make from a shop we link to is a contract between you and that shop. We are not a party to it, and consumer rights relating to that purchase (delivery, returns, warranty) are enforceable against the shop, not against us.
Early access programme
If you join our early access list, you are signing up to receive email about Foodi-AI's development and to be invited to test pre-release software. Participation is free and voluntary, and you can leave at any time via the unsubscribe link or by emailing us.
Pre-release software is by definition incomplete. It may contain errors, may change substantially, and may be withdrawn. It is provided as-is for testing purposes and should not be relied upon for anything important. We may end the early access programme at any time.
Availability
We aim to keep the site available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it, including features described as planned, without notice. Descriptions of planned functionality are statements of current intention, not commitments.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Dutch law, we exclude liability for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this website, and for any loss arising from reliance on its information or from your dealings with a linked third party.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for intentional misconduct or gross negligence, or your mandatory rights as a consumer under Dutch law.
Applicable law and disputes
These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands, without prejudice to your right as a consumer to bring proceedings in the courts of your own place of residence where EU law gives you that right.
If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid, the rest remains in force.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version published here, with the date shown at the top, is the one that applies. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
